Serial Killer Targeted Casino Patrons

A man named Richard Bradley Jr. is suspected of being a serial killer who targeted individuals who had recently come into significant sums of money. One of his alleged victims, a woman named Brandi Blake, had won a $20,000 jackpot at a local casino shortly before her death.

Bradley, 40, was initially jailed in 2021 after being charged in connection with Blake's death. Her body was found buried in Game Farm Park in Auburn, Washington.

However, this month, prosecutors filed three additional counts of murder against Bradley, accusing him of also killing Michael Goeman, 59, and his son Vance Lakey, 31, in 2021, as well as Emilio Maturin, 36, in 2019.

Each of these victims had recently come into a large amount of money and were known to carry significant cash. Bradley allegedly lured each of them to a secluded, wooded area with the promise of hidden gold.

According to prosecutors, once he had his victims alone and isolated, Bradley is accused of killing them and burying their bodies deep in the parks.

The case of Brandi Blake is particularly tragic. After winning her casino jackpot, she was allegedly lured by Bradley to Game Farm Park, where she was killed and buried in a shallow grave. Her cause of death was determined to be blunt force injuries.

The other victims also met grim fates. Goeman and Lakey were killed after Goeman received a large inheritance. Maturin was carrying $15,000 in cash when he left with Bradley, never to return.

Bradley's alleged scheme involved telling his victims that he needed help digging up buried gold. This ruse was used to lure them to secluded areas where he would then allegedly kill them.

Bradley has entered a plea of not guilty and is being held in jail without bail as he awaits trial. He was charged with premeditated first-degree murder in connection with Maturin's death, and prosecutors have added two counts of second-degree murder to his charges.
