Colman vs Hellmuth: The Last Word

The Dan Colman vs Phil Hellmuth situation keeps dragging on, as a new development arises almost every day. The thread that initiated the flame wars now has nearly 500 responses and almost 80,000 views. Posters are going back and forth with their comments, siding with either Colman or Hellmuth, while only a few try to remain neutral.
One of the posters actually brought up the question of Colman’s integrity, since he came out guns blazing and shared some very xxx opinions on Phil Hellmuth. Surprisingly, Dan was very quick to respond and his response was an open admission of guilt to one of the major sins in the poker community – multi-accounting.
I multiaccounted tournaments online when I was 17-18 with a me against the world mentality. I have made plenty of mistakes, but I know I am far from that person I once was.
Although it probably wasn’t easy to come out with this statement after all the heat he has been giving Hellmuth, Colman did not hesitate, as if he was just waiting for the opportunity to arise so he could finally put his mind at ease.
This did bring sarcastic comments from some users, as expected, although there wasn’t much heat headed Colman’s way. The reason may be his overall popularity in the online community, but also the fact that multi-accounting issues in the earlier years of online poker have been discussed at some length on multiple occasions and it seems that quite a few players were doing it regularly and do not see it as something particularly devious.
Over & Out in 2015?
As the question of why Colman keeps playing a game he detests so much, somebody came up with an online chat between him and Doug ‘WCGRider’ Polk. There is no confirmation that this chat actually happened (as 2+2 users’ imagination sometimes really runs rampant), but if true, Dan is planning to quit poker completely in 2015.

The Last Post
The discussion continued for some time, without any new information revealed, but then Colman returned once again with what he claims to be his "last post in this thread." In that post, the ‘Big One for One Drop’ winner once again tried to apologize for his harsh words sent the Poker Brat’s way.
Once again, I admit to being too harsh in my initial post. Phil didn't deserve that hateful of a message. I was a bit heated in the moment and it showed in my writings. I underestimate how much the poker world amplifies anything I have to say now that I have godmoded a few live tournaments, I will exercise more caution in the future before clicking the post button.
However, despite being apologetic about the way he expressed his thoughts, Colman stayed steadfast in his convictions, reiterating once again that Phil Hellmuth should be held responsible to a great degree for the entire UltimateBet situation and his involvement in bringing players to a site that cheated and, ultimately, stole money from their customers.
In what is supposed to be his final post in the thread, Colman also sent some heat Ryan Riess’ way, stating how the new champion, Martin Jacobson, doesn’t have to go around telling everybody how he is the best there is.
Is this really the end of the drama that’s been dragging on for several days now?
