Bratislava Poker Festival Underway

The Bratislava Poker Festival is already underway in Slovakia as a week of epic poker action promises to take over right where the WSOP left off.
The series has a €1,000,000 guarantee and is brought to us by the same team that organises the popular Irish Poker Tour. Half of that generous guarantee is for the PartyPoker LIVE Grand Prix which should see some big names arriving in the Slovakian capital to take part.
The venue for the Bratislava Poker Festival is Slovakia’s largest casino — The Card Casino. This plush casino will have more than 150 poker tables ready to accommodate the arriving players who can fly into the airport which is only about a minute’s drive down the side of the river Danube.

Major Events - Big Guarantees
Throughout the week, there are three major events of note that have significant guarantees, none more so than the €550 buy-in €500,000 GTD PartyPoker LIVE Grand Prix.Piny up €550 to enter directly if you like but check out the wide variety of satellites running throughout the day to get in on the cheap, both online on PartyPoker and at The Card Casino.
Players sit with 40,000 chips and blinds start at 100/100 with a big blind ante of 100.
Another big event coming up is the Euro Omaha Championship, which has a buy-in of €2,500. The €100,000 guarantee promises that you won’t see many bigger PLO tournaments for the rest of the year.
The €3,000 High Roller is another one and it has a €200,000 guarantee.
