The ACR Poker Mystery Bounty Venom series recently concluded with record-breaking events, drawing large fields and producing some of the biggest payouts in the site’s history. More than $10 million was paid out to players as the series surpassed expectations with every tournament.
The highlight was the $8 million guaranteed Mystery Bounty Venom main event, which saw 3,234 entries and an $8.1 million prize pool. Ivan “chickenpastry” Limeira, a 30-year-old poker pro from Brazil, emerged as the champion, pocketing $617,333. Limeira defeated “im_so_sh0rt” from Hungary in a thrilling heads-up finale to secure his victory.
“This win feels like a dream come true,” Limeira said. “The Venom is one of the best tournaments in the world, and the Mystery Bounty format makes every moment unpredictable and exciting.”
Epic Wins and Big Bounties
The series also delivered some memorable moments, including poker coach Faraz “The-Toilet 0” Jaka capturing the top bounty prize of $500,000. This was Jaka’s first foray into the Mystery Bounty series, and his success quickly went viral as he shared the news on social media. Other top bounty winners were “provideordivide” ($158,750) and “!Alexyo” ($153,750).
ACR ambassadors and poker legends, including Chris Moneymaker, were also part of the action. Moneymaker finished in 302nd place, earning $3,039, and he and Jon Pardy streamed their deep runs on ACR’s Twitch channel, adding to the excitement for fans watching at home.
The series also featured ACR’s largest-ever PLO tournament, boasting a $2.3 million prize pool from 914 entries. “Omahafyrarolls” triumphed, winning $471,378 in a highly competitive field that included high-stakes pro and ACR ambassador Tom Dwan.
“The turnout and energy in these tournaments were fantastic,” Moneymaker said. “It was thrilling to see players take down huge bounties and massive prizes. It shows just how vibrant our community is.”
As the Mystery Bounty Venom series wraps up, ACR is gearing up for September’s Supersized Tourney Week with $5 million guaranteed, leading into the Online Super Series XL on Sept. 8, which promises over $40 million in guarantees.
