2024 World Series of Poker Guide

Time goes quickly in poker. No sooner have we wrapped up the 2023 WSOP and WSOP Europe, when it’s already time to start thinking about the 2024 series.
In only a few months, spring will be upon us and we can start looking for satellites to bag us a seat in some of the bracelet events coming up.
We expect at least 120 bracelet tournaments to be on offer, with possibly a record 100+ in Las Vegas, and another 30+ in the WSOP Online.
At the end of May, it will be time to shuffle up and deal with the online series kicking off on June 1.
Time to Smash More Records in 2024
The 2023 WSOP was a standout year for the game, with many records broken. Can we do even better in 2024?
It’s incredible to think that more than $425 million was won by players over the two months. More than 250,000 different players turned up to support the series.
And then there was the Main Event. A $93 million prize pool and a record $12,100,00 first-place prize was the best we have ever seen.
And that’s even before we get to the WSOP Online which had more than $17 million in prize money won by the 29,000 players who logged in to play.
Predictions for the 2024 WSOP
After a fantastic debut year, the series returns to its new home of The Horseshoe Casino and Paris Casino in Las Vegas.
The move from the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino has been overwhelmingly positive.
So what are we expecting to see? More mystery bounty tournaments if the players’ requests are heeded to.
The new format is making waves right now and fans seem to love the extra dimension of suspense when the bounties are drawn after the player is finished playing.
Once again, PokerGO will be providing live coverage around the clock with scenes from around the playing hall and from a feature table that is guaranteed to bring us some new characters alongside some of the more familiar ones.
