$500K GTD Mystery Bounty Day 2 Coming Up

If a trip to Las Vegas during the 2023 World Series of Poker doesn’t get your heart rate spiked enough then get stuck into the Day 1’s for the upcoming mystery Bounty event in the $6.4 million GTD Mini Online Super Series.

There are still four days left to qualify for Day 2 with up to $50,000 up for grabs in the bounty hand out.

Mystery Bounty Tournament Schedule:

  • Day 1's: June 4th to 24 (Every 2 hours)
  • Day 2: Sunday, June 25 at 1:30 pm ET

Why You'll Love It:

  • Bounties ranging from $50 to a staggering $50,000 top prize!
  • Multiple Phase 1's to build your stack.
  • Flights taking off every 2 hours.

Mystery bounty tournaments are different from regular PKO events with their two-phase structure. In a regular bounty tourney, you receive a bounty payment each time you eliminate a player with half of it going to you and the other half added to your own bounty.

However, in a mystery bounty, bounties are only paid in Phase 2, and the amount you win is a surprise every time. This makes each mystery bounty reward much more significant than in regular tournaments.

Phase 1:

In this phase, the prize pool is split evenly between bounties and the tournament prize pool. Your goal is to survive and grow your chip stack during the first day of play, as the mystery bounties are only awarded during Day 2.

You can play an unlimited number of Phase 1 flights, and your chips at the end of each flight will be added to your Phase 2 starting stack.

Phase 2:

During Phase 2, the prizes are set, and you'll earn a random bounty for each player you eliminate. With all bounties randomly assigned, you could win the top bounty prize of the tournament on your first knockout of this final phase.

That's why it's crucial to grow your Phase 2 starting stack by playing many Phase 1 flights, so you're in a position to cover your opponents from the beginning.

In Phase 2, multiple knockouts mean multiple bounties. As you eliminate opponents, you'll receive a mystery bounty from each one, stacking up more and more profit.
